Music Cafe
Music Cafe is a welcoming creative space for young people who connect through music, conversation, and self expression, without necessary music experience. Whether you’re into singing, songwriting, producing, playing instruments, or simply listening, this is a space where young people can feel safe, supported, and part of a community.
Through relaxed sessions, open mic opportunities, creative workshops, and social connection, Music Café encourages confidence, creativity, and wellbeing in a non-judgemental environment.
about
At Crisis Café, we understand that music can be more than entertainment, it can be an outlet, a coping tool, and a way to connect with others when words feel difficult. Music Cafe was created to give young people a safe and welcoming space where creativity and wellbeing go hand in hand.
Music Cafe is open to young people of all abilities and experience levels. You don’t need to be a performer or musician to attend. Whether you enjoy writing lyrics in your notes app, making playlists that explain your mood, producing beats in your bedroom, or just want somewhere to exist around like-minded people, you are welcome here.
Sessions may include:
-
Open mic nights

Opportunities to build confidence and meet others
The atmosphere is relaxed, supportive, and pressure-free. There is no expectation to perform or share anything you are uncomfortable with. Young people can participate at their own pace, whether that means taking centre stage or simply sitting with a coffee and listening.
Music Café aims to create connection through creativity while helping young people feel heard, included, and supported in a space that celebrates individuality and self-expression.
No pressure. No judgement. Just music, creativity, and connection.
Come as you are. 🎵
